Rhoose Post Office Back

Lisa Barree spent the six months training the new staff at Rhoose Post Office. We thank her so much for holding the Fort for much longer than anticipated, we appreciate everything she has done to help our Village. If it wasn't for Lisa, Rhoose wouldn't have had a post office part time or not until this Monday so we are extremely grateful.

Don't worry though as Lisa has agreed to stay and work in the grocery so you will still get to see her smiling and helpful self three times a week

Its finally happening…

It’s been the longest 4/6 month contract for me but 15 months later and Rhoose finally will have a full time Post Office.

Monday 8th April, for the morning the Post Office was closed for audit (16 years on and even she was nervous at the word audit ) and hand over, then opened sometime in the afternoon.

It’s been an experience for her being the Interim Postmistress but she was definitely ready to hand it over.

She gave her best wishes to Cerian, who will honestly be an amazing Postmistress and the Rhoose community will show her so much support.

Great to have the Post Office back, especially for the local residents.
